Mr. David Morra

David Morra is a Managing Director of Union Partners, LLC (www.unionpartners.com), a private equity and performance acceleration firm. In this capacity, he provides executive oversight for consulting engagements and acquisition activities for targeted companies.
Mr. Morra is an experienced executive leader and team builder, with specific credentials in growth management and strategic change management on a global scale. His general management expertise spans across technology and product-based businesses as well as specialty distribution and outsourced services and products. In his most recent corporate role as the founding CEO of Omnicare Clinical Research, Inc., Mr. Morra led his team of senior executives in creating a full-service clinical development enterprise through the integration, restructuring and globalization of three acquired companies and oversaw the acquisition of a fourth.
Mr. Morra joined Mallinckrodt, Inc., now Tyco International, Inc. (NYSE: TYC), in 1987. There, he held top executive positions responsible for key profit centers of the Company. He was elected an officer of Mallinckrodt in 1991. Prior to joining Mallinckrodt, Mr. Morra worked at Bristol Myers Squibb Corporation where he held positions in marketing management, product management and sales. Mr. Morra currently is a member of the board of Encorium Group, Inc. (NASDQ: ENCO) and serves as the Chairman of its Compensation Committee and also sits on the Nominating and Audit Committees.
Throughout his career, Mr. Morra has served on a number of not-for-profit, industry, and foreign subsidiary boards. He regularly volunteers his time to community-based initiatives. Currently he is a business counselor with SCORE, providing professional guidance to existing and emerging businesses in greater Philadelphia. Mr. Morra also serves president of the board of Habitat for Humanity. Mr. Morra is a graduate of Providence College (BS, 1977) and The Wharton School (AMP, 1991).
